      RR Donnelley Names Daniel L. Knotts Chief Operating Officer

      CHICAGO, Dec 27, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) -- R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company (Nasdaq:RRD) today announced that Daniel L. Knotts is being named Chief Operating Officer, succeeding John R. Paloian who is retiring after over 25 years in the industry and having served for more than five years as the company's COO. Mr. Knotts has most recently been the company's Group President, with responsibility for global sales, operations, information technology, logistics, financial services, business process outsourcing operations, strategic sourcing and Environmental, Health and Safety.
