Net@Work Acquires Synergy Plus Solutions

By Jayashree Adkoli, TMCnet Contributor

Net@Work, a Sage Software business partner and a provider of integrated business technology solutions, announced that it has acquired Canada-based Synergy (News - Alert) Plus Solutions (Synergy).

Based in NYC, Net@Work’s portfolio includes a complete range of IT services and solutions, such as Sage ERP X3, Sage 500, Sage 300, Sage 100, Sage Pro, Sage SalesLogix, Sage CRM, Sage Act! and Sage HRMS, document management software, SharePoint, web development and systems integration solutions.

Synergy is a Sage 300 ERP and Sage CRM consulting practices and Value Added Reseller (VAR). Sage 300 ERP is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software that helps enterprises manage nearly every aspect of business. This comprehensive multinational business management solution, built on a flexible and expandable architecture, is cost-effective, quick to implement, and simple to use.

Sage CRM is Web-based customer relationship management (CRM) software that can manage all customer interactions. It is ideal for small to medium businesses (SMBs).

Facilitating Net@Work to expand its reach in the Canadian market, this acquisition will also provide Synergy customers, spread across Ontario and Michigan, with an expanded range of solutions and services.

In other words, Synergy customers will have access to Net@Work's well-known Sage team. This in turn will provide them with unmatched support for the full suite of Sage ERP, CRM and HRMS solutions, while delivering a complete range of technologies and services to help them grow their business, such as Enterprise Content Management, systems integration and e-Commerce solutions.

Alex Solomon, co-president at Net@Work, said in a statement, "We've known Synergy's President Joe Santoro for years and have long admired Synergy as one of the most respected and influential Sage Software (News - Alert) consulting practices in the business."

Solomon added, "We've been looking for the right opportunity to enter the dynamic Canadian market. Joe's leadership and Synergy's breadth of Sage ERP and CRM expertise, combined with their reputation for superior customer support, will enable us to deliver a complete range of business technology solutions to companies across Ontario and into Michigan--and eventually across all of Canada, as we identify other strategic acquisitions."

Joe Santoro, president for Synergy, will now serve as Net@Work's Sage 300 ERP practice director. The Synergy team will remain based in Windsor, Ontario, with a presence in Troy, Michigan.

Santoro, said in a statement, “With this acquisition, our clients will be able to rely on us as a trusted single source for all their business technology needs, from accounting, customer relationship management, HR, and e-Commerce -- as well as all the IT processes that enable them to successfully compete on a world stage."

In recent news, Net@Work was recognized by Crain's New York Business as one of the fastest-growing companies in the New York area.
