The New Relic's Solution Maximizes on Enterprise Business Transaction Performance Tracking

New Relic, Inc., is now enabling organizations, both small and large, to maximize on enterprise business transaction performance tracking. Achieving this is possible using the recently announced key transaction ‘performance management’ solution.


Until New Relic’s intervention, business transaction performance management has only been possible through expensive, on-premise tools. With the integration of this feature into the New Relic Pro, companies will be empowered with advanced and refined visibility into their critical transactions at an affordable price.

Apart from the above additions, New Relic has come up with improved functionality in its already intuitive product workflow by giving it a new and improved user interface. This allows the new solution to consolidate real-time user monitoring and application performance overviews into one home screen for the sake of at-a-glance convenience.

In addition to allowing for a single pane of glass management, the new design makes it easier for development experts to pinpoint bottlenecks and performance issues way before they affect the business activity negatively. Since this is the target for any business, New Relic’s solution will undoubtedly have more than a dozen followers after its launch.

Founded in 2008, New Relic services has over 30,000 customers whose needs total to around monitoring of over 650,000 application instances in the company’s APM (News - Alert) platform. Putting the company’s performance into metrics, New Relic’s SaaS-delivered solution collects over 60 Billion performance metrics daily, which translate, to 5TB of data. This makes the company the biggest ever data repository ever built for application performance analysis.

Key highlights of the transaction performance management solution include a feature allowing customers to define performance of critical transactions such as online shopping carts , presenting each key transaction on a dedicated dashboard featuring transaction-level real user and application service performance metrics. Finally, it features important transaction features that give an automatic base lining, topology map and service level agreement-report generation.

With the complexity of the current web on the rise, the task of assessing how individual events influence important applications and user applications is bound to become more complicated yet very important.
