Druva's Unified Solution Empowers Enterprise IT

By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

Druva has surpassed one million endpoints protected with over 1,300 customers across 46 countries, increasing the number of endpoints protected by more than 450 percent year over year.

The company’s flagship product, inSync, empowers a mobile workforce with automated backup, file sharing and collaboration, data loss prevention, and rich analytics. Deployed either on the cloud or on-premises, the product is built with both IT needs and end-user experiences in mind.

Enterprise IT is currently being empowered by inSync unified solution, which uses a comprehensive endpoint data management solution addressing critical challenges raised by bring your own device (BYOD) and rampant use of consumer grade file sharing solutions.

“Druva was the first to recognize that enterprise IT needs to manage the data, not the device,” said Jaspreet Singh, CEO at Druva, adding that inSync’s unified platform is built with both IT needs and end-user experiences in mind and works regardless of the type of data or the kind of device.

Touted as the only unified solution that offers ‘award-winning’ backup for laptops, smartphones and tablets, inSync also offers integrated file sharing and collaboration with enterprise-grade security.

Moreover, customers can benefit from integrated DLP with data encryption, geo-tracking and remote data delete, as well as from unified data insights with real-time search and reports, according to company officials.

The unified platform approach delivers efficiencies such as consolidated endpoint policy management across devices and users that saves time and effort for IT, and common de-duplication across backup and file sharing, which delivers huge savings in storage and bandwidth.

Additional visibility into sharing activities as well as corporate data across all endpoints along with real-time alerts allows IT to proactively protect data.

Druva offers a full suite of endpoint data management solutions for enterprise laptops, PCs, smartphones and tablets. In North America and the U.K., the company has seen the strongest adoptions, especially in the technology, finance and manufacturing industries.

According to company officials, Deloitte (News - Alert), NASA and Siemens are their customers.

Earlier in July, Druva Software planned to raise between $20 million and $25 million in a Series C round of funding from Nexus Venture Partners and Sequoia Capital (News - Alert).
