YouSendIt Announces Availability of Newly Updated App for iPhone & iPod Touch

YouSendIt, Inc., go-to file collaboration service for enterprise and consumers, recently announced that its newly updated YouSendIt app is now available for free from the App Store on the iPhone and iPod touch or at the iTunes App Store. Leveraging the newly updated app, professionals will be able to work from any location using any device.


YouSendIt has updated the app to be a more robust and comprehensive mobile service that makes it easy for professionals to access their documents, and other material such as presentations, music, videos among others regardless of their location. The app allows improved collaboration and supports functions such as sending and storing files, sharing of folders, as well as signing of documents over the customer’s iPhone (News - Alert) or iPod touch.

The YouSendIt app carries out these tasks from one place and ensures the secure sync of all files and folders, which means any change made to the documents over iPhone or iPod touch can be viewed instantly by other authorized users over other devices such as desktops, laptops, and tablets.

In addition to delivering the original capabilities, the newly updated YouSendIt app comes with a new range of features which allow customers to work irrespective of whether they are on site, or working from home or any other location.

Capabilities of the updated YouSendIt app include - Faster access, which means users simply have to swipe on file name to gain access to actions toolbar;  users can send  photos and videos directly from the device without having to store or upload it to YouSendIt; users can quickly create and save an electronic signature, which can be added to any document at a later stage; the app allows users to rename files and folders with a quick swipe;  and tasks, such as sorting of files and folders, can be done by type, size and date with ease.

 Thanks to a robust infrastructure, the YouSendIt App offers reliable data security and helps in improving productivity for businesses. The app also provides IT leaders and CIOs with capabilities such as SAML-based Single Sign-on and remote wipe; centralized policy management; improved reporting compliance; and complete encryption.
