TrackVia Unveils List of Fascinating Business Applications from 2012

TrackVia has unveiled its yearly list of "10 Most Intriguing Applications of 2012." Five of the most widespread applications created by its citizen developer users in 2012 have also been revealed by the organization.

Non-technical business people are offered a drastically rapid method of building their own personal cloud software, using TrackVia’s improvised Web-based platform.


The numerous methods by which the non-technical business uses the TrackVia platform to generate personalized business applications without any coding are included in the TrackVia list. These are Giving Life, Tracking 4-Minute Milers, Parking Patterns, and Greener Homes, among others.

In the Giving Life application, TrackVia has been used by two different medical organizations to monitor medical organ donations made through their organizations. To streamline the procedure of connecting donated organs with recipient candidates, this data can be coordinated with numerous national databases.

A personalized database application, Tracking 4-Minute Milers, has been developed by a major professional long-distance running organization. The application monitors past and upcoming events, as well as best running times and records.

 Prizes won by their associates can also be monitored, reported and compared by the organization.

Numerous custom-designed applications known as Parking Patterns have been developed by an organization based in New Orleans. These programs can monitor all the facets of operation, right from instantaneous monitoring and reporting of capacity across its several facilities, everyday site and security assessment, and tracking and optimizing the cost concurrently, depending on local events or competitor prices.

TrackVia has been used to develop a custom-designed application, Greener Homes, by a local government enterprise in Greensboro, NC. The application monitors and plans energy-proficient home projects that receive funding from the government. Apart from ensuring the projects are not delayed or overshooting the budget, TrackVia's integrated user-permission feature has been used for sharing access with hundreds of non-government employee contractors working on projects across the city.

Numerous TrackVia customers also utilize the improvised platform for developing tailored versions of well-liked business software, customizing them to fulfill their precise requirements. CRM/Sales monitoring and administration, operations, inventory or logistics monitoring, customer service monitoring and marketing administration are some of the common business applications developed and personalized by users in 2012.
