Procad gets new Product Support Specialization designation from Autodesk

Procad, a manufacturing reseller for 3D design, engineering and entertainment software company based in Ireland, announced that it is now an Autodesk (News - Alert) product support partner. As a result, Procad will be able to highlight and brand their expertise in delivering services to key industry areas.


Procad is an Autodesk Value Added Reseller (VAR) partner for over 18 years, providing software sales, training and services to organizations across a wide spectrum of design and management disciplines. It  is also an Authorised Training Centre (ATC) and Authorised Certification Centre for Autodesk design products and certification exams. Famous for its high level of service and support, Procad is an Autodesk Gold Partner, one of the highest levels of support recognized by Autodesk globally.

Cormac Lyons, CEO of Procad said that it is good news for Procad and its customers, as they have made significant investment over the past few years in their business processes and support structure. Their customers will gain a wealth of knowledge, accumulated across multiple industry sectors and a direct link to Autodesk support.

In related news, Autodesk Inc., (NASDAQ: ADSK) and NASA Ames Research Center are collaborating to research and develop new technology that can monitor and optimize the operational life-cycle of high performance buildings. Researchers from Autodesk Research and NASA will implement Autodesk Project Dasher technology at the NASA Ames Sustainability Base, a 50,000 square foot office building and showcase for technologies enhancing efficient resource utilization, including those developed by NASA for its space and aeronautics missions. Autodesk Project Dasher is an experimental Building Information Modeling (BIM) based platform that can provide building owners and operators with insight into full life-cycle real-time building performance.
