Alorica Hires Doug Almond as New Country Manager for Philippines

In his new role as Country Manager, Almond will be directly responsible for all operational and support functions as well as ensuring the overall performance of the Philippines. With more than 20 years of BPO experience in strategic planning, client relationships, contact center operations and business development, Almond will surely help the company meet its set objectives.


Officials added that he will also bring extensive knowledge and a proven track record of excellent operational execution and leadership development to Alorica.

"Alorica recognizes the rapidly evolving and continued importance of the Philippines in supporting our clients' customers. We are uniquely positioned to continue to lead this growth by focusing on our operational efficiencies and competitive position," said YC Liu, president, in a statement.

Almond, a highly experienced operations executive, has held several senior management positions with APAC, ACS (News - Alert)/Xerox and Sitel. He has also managed large and diverse teams in multiple call centers based the U.S., Europe and Asia.
