TMCnet Business Process Outsourcing Week in Review

By Ashley Caputo, TMCnet Web Editor

Business process outsourcing reassures these companies that their customer service is in the hands of expert. And, this week in the business process outsourcing space we have seen we have seen just how much these solutions have helped provide great customer experiences.

In any industry, the most important aspect is making sure that its customers are satisfied, whether it is for a retail service, contact center or VoIP provider. According to call center solutions provider Fonolo (News - Alert), poor customer experience resulted in an estimated $83 billion loss in U.S. enterprises each year because of defections and abandoned purchases. To help make sure that these situations don’t occur, Alorica, a business provider of outsourcing solutions, create opportunities and deliver results for clients by providing excellent care. So, in conclusion, in order to have a successful business the top priority for 2013 should be customer experience.

This year, Freeborders Inc., a provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing solutions for Internet business, was already recognized by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) as a Rising Start in the 2013 Global Outsourcing 100. The company created a unique model that offers a blend of Eastern and Western business practices and provides access to knowledge of the US, European and Chinese market.

Interneer Inc., a provider for SaaS (News - Alert) business process management (BPM) software, has also received some praise this week. For 2012 Interneer gained 23 new customers and 16 new partners, with over half of the substantial channel revenue generated from its rapidly growing ecosystems partners.

On the other end of the spectrum, Kofax Software and Services, a provider of automation software and solutions, is the one generating revenue. A major global agricultural products manufacturer will utilize its software for to automate its accounts payable processes. Kofax Software will automate the processing of over 300,000 invoices every year for the manufacturer, who has also invest over a million dollars in Kofax software like Kofax MarkView for AP, Kofax MarkView Advisor, Kofax Capture, Kofax Transformation Modules and Kofax e-Transaction.

Swedish companies will also be doing some investing themselves. Earlier this month, a Swedish delegation comprising 20 businessmen and 12 companies discussed possible trade and investment opportunities in the Philippines. These companies include Clean Motion, Electrolux, Ikano, Volvo, Atlas Copco and Ericsson (News - Alert). As the markets in the Philippines emerge and President Aquino's anti-corruption begins to clean up the country, it has become an international interest, especially for Sweden.
