Lending Club Signs Agreement with Oracle for ERP Cloud Service

Lending Club, a platform for investing in and obtaining personal loans, recently signed an agreement with Oracle (News - Alert) for Oracle’s ERP Cloud Service. Officials from Lending Club said the company will integrate Oracle’s services with Lending Club's online lending platform to improve decision-making and workflow, implement robust reporting, and take advantage of the inherent scalability and cost savings provided by the cloud.


"Lending Club is an innovative, data-intensive, high-growth company and we needed a solution and partner that could match us," said Carrie Dolan, CFO at Lending Club. "We conducted a thorough review of our options, and Oracle ERP Cloud Service was the clear winner in terms of capabilities and business value as well as commitment to us as a customer."

The Oracle ERP Cloud Service is an integrated suite that transforms the back office into a collaborative, efficient and intuitive hub. The suite includes multi-GAAP, multicurrency, multilingual and multisubsidiary capabilities. Complete ERP Services include financials, planning and budgeting, risk and controls management, procurement and sourcing, inventory and cost management, product master data management, and project portfolio management.

Oracle ERP Cloud Service suite includes Fusion Financials, a complete financial management solution. It includes a broad suite of capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and cash management.

It also boasts expense and collections management that all sit on top of a 100 percent open, standards-based platform to help customers increase business agility and standardize business processes.

In related news, Oracle recently launched the Social Relationship Management (SRM) Suite. Oracle’s Social Relationship Management Suite is an integrated enterprise service that enables companies to listen, engage, create, market and analyze interactions across multiple social platforms in real time, providing a holistic view of the consumer.
